Education Day 1979

As part of the school's Education Week celebrations, in August 1979, the then RPS Band, Choir and Recorder Group performed at the Lindfield Retirement Village. The students produced a wonderful scrapbook full of stories and pictures recalling how well the day went. The students were clearly pleased with their performances and felt that the 'old people' had enjoyed themselves. A highlight of the visit was afternoon tea provided by the retirement village. Peter Taylor, a grade five saxophonist, wrote a song (and accompanying music!) about the day highlighting the "biscuits and tea". While, Amanda Tabak drew a charming picture of her fellow choir members and their conductor, Mrs Ramsey.
