Computer Room

Here are some pictures of the new K-2 computer lab. This computer lab has lots of laptops and a printer. It is reserved for K-2 only and positioned in the library. The Years K-2 will be working hard in their new working space in the library.

The School and Computer Lab now have a new server. This makes the computer different to use.

Logging In

Instead of typing in your year e.g. Year5 and the password which you would know, now you have to type in your name like this e.g. biffle.hight@edu. Then type in your password.

Using the Internet

Before, you couldn’t Bookmark a page or put websites in ‘Favourites’ because the whole year could see what you’ve done, but now that you have your own drive on the server and can use bookmarks and favourites.

Folders

Thanks to the new server you now have your own folders to put pictures, movies and music and there is another folder which has…..LOTS AND LOTS OF GAMES THAT YOU’VE NEVER HAD.

Computer Room Rules.

The computer room is used every day of the week. We also have a Hitachi projector. It projects things onto the wall. The teachers use it to show the students what to do.
