Congratulations Bella and Grace

Sydney North Dance Camp

Two weeks ago from the 12th of August to the 15th August, Grace and Isabella from Year 6 went to the Sydney North Talented Schools’ Dance Camp. Our days consisted of three dance classes each of a different style.

either jazz, contemporary or musical theatre. Each class was taught by a very experienced dancer working at the Sydney Dance Company. Each day we would get to have our lunch and morning tea by the great view of the Sydney

harbour. At the end of the week we got to perform a concert for all the parents showing all of the work we did. We both feel very privileged to be able to go to the camp and we also think we have improved so much.

The Production.

The Production has been written! Stage 3 are very excited, they are starting soon. The teachers haven’t told us what it’s about yet but they did tell us that it’s about a journey. Like last year Year 6 are getting the main parts. Auditions for speaking parts will be throughout the term. There are 18 year six speaking parts and 5 year five parts so far but they might stretch them.

This production is going to be the best yet.

Mothers Day Stall

On the 10th of May, Roseville Public School had their annual Mother’s Day Stall. All the children in the school were able to bring in a present and then all the children who brought in a present were able to buy one to give to their mother on Mother’s Day.

Our school raised a massive $2262.10 during the Mother’s Day Stall and $300 of that money will go towards Vision Australia. What the rest of the money will go towards has not been decided yet, but I am sure it will go to a good cause.
